I don’t know how you celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, but with me it’s always been visiting families. Since I’m not really a family person, I don’t really see my aunts and uncles and cousins so often during the year. So you can figure that when we do see eachother, there’ll be plenty of questions asked to you; sooo plenty it’s almost offensive.
I have illustrated something like this in 2012. It’s just so awesome (no, not really awesome) how I could make the same mistake, the same decision, all over again, but still haven’t reached the goal I’ve been chasing for.
What did I miss? My chance? My gut?
I don’t know. All I know is right now I have liberated my self from a flock of value-less people and I should be feeling relieved but what’s waiting ahead of me is a pool of darkness that I will dunk my head into, ready or not.
The following one is a bonus. I came home early from work the other day and decided to practice my traditional art.
It’s pencil and watercolor:
I don’t know. Still need a little bit of work, don’t you think?
This weekend I produced quite a lot of doodles because I haven’t posted for 2 weeks (?)
I’ve had plan to revamp my twitter profile pic since ages ago but I always forgot LOL. So I finally did that.
I did the following one based on my recent life and how I been feeling about it. Hahahahah… There are some people been throwing knives at me and you know, come to think of it, I actually can stab them back with these weapons they been “giving” me.
And finally I did this following one on my tribute to my bestfriend Odi because she had been generously bringing me my Wacom that I left at our place. Without her I wouldn’t have been able to do these three junks hahaha…
So what were we doing here in the illustration? Well, something only we know. Hihihihihihiehiehieh…..
The last entry I posted here was when I was in South Korea? Oh well, it’s been 2 weeks since I’m back home. In the mood to re-draw the sketch I did on the plane back from Seoul to Jakarta. It was one long trip so I got bored and started to doodle something on my sketchbook while listening to Paramore’s “Ain’t it fun”. It has something that says:
So what are you gonna do when the world don’t orbit around you?
Here’s what the sketch looked like:
And here’s what I did this Sunday on Photoshop:
I didn’t do the digital one by checking out my sketch so definitely there was something I miss argh I hate it haha.. The sketch makes somewhat more sense. Meh..
Two of my bestfriends are getting married to eachother last Saturday! I am beyond happy for them because I’ve known them for 12 years, and 9 years of the 12 is about how long they been together. Isn’t it awesommee?!
They’re one of a few couples I admire because they been so casual and funny and entertaining and nice and not cheesy at all 😜
Let’s congratulate them and wish for their happiness ever afterr~
